When making your bus reservation with Shafer Bus Tours (607-797-2006), state that you are with the German Club – Susanna and Heidi. (Shafer will try, not guarantee, and get us seated together) Lunch reservations will be taken at the Ratskeller, where there will be a sign-up sheet.
Zum Schneider Restaurant – is a Bavarian Bierhaus and German Restaurant in the East Village of New York City. Weekends they have a brunch menu from 1 to 5 pm; the restaurant accepts CASH only.

$52.00 / person bus fare, plus gratuity with Shafer’s Bus Tours (book directly with Shafer)
Board Shafer’s motor-coach at 500 North Street (Vestal Avenue), Endicott Terminal. Your seat is then kept for the entire trip.
Depart for New York City. Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride! Shafer will make a rest stop and the driver will bring out cold drinks for everyone.
Approximate arrival at Bryant Park (42nd Street).
LUNCH at Zum Schneider Restaurant, 107 Ave C @ East 7th St., (reservations sign-up at the German Club)
Board Shafer’s motor-coach at Bryant Park and head for home.
Depart for Endicott, NY. Fast food stop en-route.

Official Opening of Our Sommer Biergarten!

Join us as we celebrate the beginning of the summer season with the opening of our picnic grounds. With over 30 picnic tables there’s plenty of room for all, including Oma and Opa; kid friendly too, including a swing set!
A cash bar offering German Brews (and wine) will be available as well as our menu of Bratwursts, potato salad, sauerkraut, and soft pretzels at a-la-carte pricing.
In honor of Cinco de Mayo, we’ll be offering Margaritas and Coronas with lime.

The restaurant at The Alpine Wurst and Meat House offers a variety of German-American meals. Featured menu items include classic German fare such as schnitzel, and kassler rippchen along with sides of sauerkraut, red cabbage or spaetzle. Leave room to indulge in their apple strudel, sacher torte or black forest cake
