Welcome to our newest member, Nancy Scales-Coddington, I hope to see you at some of the upcoming events.

 My first meeting with all of the new officers went well, a lot was discussed and I look forward to the next two years.

 February looks to be a busy month:

    Sunday, February 5 at 5:30pm – Annual Superbowl Party at the AOH, bring a dish to pass, Good Luck to the NY Giants…

-        Sunday, February 12 at 11am – St.  Brigid’s Mass at Lourdes Chapel, sponsored by LAOH Division 1.

-        Monday, February 13 and 20 at 7pm – continuation of Irish Dance Lessons at the Hall, contact me if you are interested in learning traditional dances in time for the dinner dance.

-        Saturday, February 18 from 11am to 4pm – Boscov’s Irish Days, if you’d like to volunteer to work at our table, make crafts or cookies, contact Ruth at 797-6199.  Food, entertainment and vendors will make this for an enjoyable day.

    Saturday, February 25 – Parade Committee Dinner Dance at the Riverwalk Hotel, $30 per person, call Meryl at 797-4050, music by Andy Cooney.

   Ellen Coyne is accepting payment for dues ($20 per year), please send a check with your card and a self addressed stamped envelope to the AOH Hall, 148 Main St., Bing., NY 13905 to her attention or pay at the next meeting.

   Agnes O’Leary, NYS LAOH Fundraising Chair is once again selling celery green golf shirts with the LAOH logo in full color for $20.  This takes place of the pink ones and can be worn at the National Convention (or to any function).  Deadline is February 15th, but I
spoke with Aggie and she is extending it until after our meeting that night.  Sizes are Small through XXXL, please contact me or order at the next meeting.

  Please continue to pray for our brothers and sisters, those serving in the military and all who need our prayers.
