Our 120th year of celebrating the traditional Bavarian Oktoberfest, had a fantastic turn-out from the local Binghamton community and beyond. Summer weather had returned to Broome County earlier in the week, which made for an excellent prediction for the day and our picnic grounds were full of patrons to prove it!

Many lovers of the German culture enjoyed our menu from Bratwurst, Leberkäse, Spätzle to Schwarzwald Kircshtorte (Blackforest) cake; not to mention the variety of German Biers!

Dance floor was jamming with The George Tarasek Polka Band, from Wilkes-Barre, PA.

Our next event for the year will be the Harvest Wine and Dance Festival, 4 Nov… hey, yet another chance to practice your polka!
